 Tree Top Lodge provides a perfect base from which to explore the Lake District – it is situated only 3 miles from Windermere and Ambleside, but is a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life & a great place to relax after a day walking the fells, ticking off Wainwrights Walks, or discovering all about Beatrix Potter and the places which were special to her – or kayaking, or gorge walking, mountain biking or bird watching!  Whatever you come to the Lake District for, Tree Top Lodge, situated on the 5* Limefitt Park will only add to your Cumbrian experience!  You can walk or cycle directly onto the fells from Tree Top Lodge and there are nice walks to Windermere & Ambleside directly from Limefitt Park – and onto High Street for the more ardent fell walker!  Providing self catering accommodation for up to 4 people – and dogs are welcome too!

• There is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and the twin bedroom has it’s own shower room opposite.  
• The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your cooking experience at Tree Top Lodge, both for indoor & al fresco eating.
• The living/dining area is very comfortable and for your further enjoyment there is a 26"LCD (digital) TV with DVD player, a variety of games, books & DVD,s & CD player. 
• The lodge has full gas central heating & an electric ‘flame effect’ fire in the living room.
• The patio is the perfect place from which to watch the local wildlife pass by with lovely views over Wansfell and over to Troutbeck.

Tree Top Lodge Prices & Availability

• Full week bookings are generally Friday – Friday.
• Prices are fully inclusive of cleaning, bedding, towels, tea towels, gas and electric.
• A non refundable deposit of £100 is payable in advance for full weeks bookings with the balance being due 4 weeks prior to arrival – weekend and mid week breaks are payable on booking.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome at Tree Top Lodge but must be kept on a lead whilst walking around the site.
• 5% discount for returning guests

The lodge was immaculate and very well equipped – the DVD player was particularly appreciated one very wet evening. Limefitt park itself was very good, we all liked the zip wire in the playground (although I’m not sure grownups are supposed to use it as well as their kids!)
