11/08/09 ‘Hiya Nicci We come back yesterday from a weekend away in your lodge, this is just a quick email to let you know that we had a fab time and did not want to come home. The lodge is absolutely gorgeous we could not fault in any way at all. To be honest we could not of asked for anything more. Having looked around the site we definatley picked the best one for us the garden area just completed it as we had the dog, we had no worries of him running off as it was all fenced off. We have also left a comment in your little comments book. Thank you so much, and we hope to return in the near future and i would definatley recommend it to all family and freinds. Lisa x’
14/08/09 ‘We have had a great time here at Lake Windermere. There was so much to see and do we would have needed another weeks stay but we did manage to walk round Buttermere Lake and hire a motor boat for a lovely trip down Lake Windermere. October 2009 – ‘What a lovely home from home Calgarth Lodge is! We have had a fantastic week, the weather has stayed dry – having the garden has been a bonus, we actually sat and star gazed one night! Climbed Old Man of Coniston, visited Windermere, Ambleside,Kendal, keswick, Grizedale Forest,Coniston, Tarn Hows & other places during our week. Food onsite in restaurant and takeaway is gorgeous with huge portions. Lodge was so cosy and had everything we needed. Thank you for providing such a great place to stay!’ Joanna & Neil (Bootle)
October 2009 – ‘Calgarth Lodge has been a lovely warm, homely place to stay. We had a great time here in the Lake District & our cocker spaniel has had the best time swimming in Lake Windermere.Weather Friday & Saturday was fantastic and we hired a boat on Lake Windermere – scenery was just breathtaking.
