You will be assured of a relaxing break when you come to Calgarth Lodge 53 at White Cross Bay. This self catering accommodation is exactly what you need to get that "home from home" feeling and is a perfect base from which to explore the Lake District!

• The spacious lounge opens out onto the decking via patio doors and is equipped with a 26inch LCD TV (Sky), DVD and CD Player. The lodge is warmed by full gas central heating and has an additional electric warm air fire in the lounge for those cosy winter’s evenings.
• Dine in style at Calgarth Lodge either at the dining table inside the lodge or alfresco on the patio – depending on the weather!
• The modern kitchen is equipped with full size fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and hope fully everything else you’ll need during your stay!
• The Master bedroom has an ensuite shower room, saving any arguments about who’s in the bathroom next!
• The twin bedroom is suitable for adults and children alike – full size single beds , ample storage and their own bathroom next door!
• The decking leads directly into the beautiful, enclosed garden area which is pretty unique to Calgarth Lodge! Watch the wildlife pottering around while you enjoy a glass of something chilled in the evening!
• The garden is very private and attracts a variety of wildlife – birds, squirrels, rabbits, ducks!  Perfect for younger visitors to let off some steam!

Calgarth Lodge 53 Prices & Availability

• Full week bookings are generally Friday – Friday.
• Prices are fully inclusive of cleaning, bedding, towels, tea towels, gas and electric.
• A non refundable deposit of £100 is payable in advance for full weeks bookings with the balance being due 4 weeks prior to arrival – weekend and mid week breaks are payable on booking.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome at Calgarth Lodge but must be kept on a lead whilst walking around the site.
• 5% discount for returning guests

November /December 2010 -  ‘Thank you for a fabulous break – after a bad few months it was just what was needed.  We have survived freezing temperatures (kids juice froze in the car!) – spent the days sledging at Bowness and Holker and indulged in lots of festive shopping in Ambleside – we will be booking another break, thanks again’    The Danwells

September/October 2010 - ‘We love the log cabin   Just like to say that this is such a lovely place to stay in!  I’m 16 and thought that this wa not suitable for my age range, but I was so wrong!  All I’ve wanted to do here is relax, and this is the perfect place!  I would also like to say how happy I am that you have Wifi because I am a typical teenager who loves Facebook so thank you for the free access – hope to come back again!    Gemma x

 ’Hiya Nicci We come back yesterday from a weekend away in your lodge, this is just a quick email to let you know that we had a fab time and did not want to come home. The lodge is absolutely gorgeous we could not fault in any way at all. To be honest we could not of asked for anything more. Having looked around the site we definatley picked the best one for us the garden area just completed it as we had the dog, we had no worries of him running off as it was all fenced off.
