- White Cross Bay Holiday Lodge
Sleeping 5 comfortably, every effort has been made to make this lodge feel like home. There is parking for 2 cars.
Games, videos and DVD’s are provided along with tennis racquets, bicycles etc from the adjoining shed. Satellite channels and wireless internet are also available.
There is a fully fitted kitchen, electric panel heating throughout and a gas fire in the lounge. Accommodation consists of one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and one single. The bathroom has a washbasin and bath with shower.
The lodge has a large area of decking around it with a gate which can stop dogs and children escaping. Bar-be-que, garden table, chairs, cushions and parasol are provided.
Glen Auldyn Lodge Prices & Availability
- Full week bookings are generally Friday – Friday.
- Prices are fully inclusive of cleaning, bedding, towels, tea towels, gas and electric.
- A non refundable deposit of £100 is payable in advance for full weeks bookings with the balance being due 4 weeks prior to arrival – weekend and mid week breaks are payable on booking.

‘We booked our weekend break at the last minute …. we’ve enjoyed everything about the house, it feels warm and comfortable and everything is in it’s correct place! Rachel and myself have decided that we will back here, soon hopefully when the weather picks up:-) The boathouse bar is a friendly place to go for a quiet pint! ‘What a lovely warm welcome to be greeted with all the heating on with all the snow outside! We were also very impressed that we had running water because of no frozen pipes – that seemed to be a problem for some others! Very well equipped and central for days out! ‘Visited “Glen Auldyn” at White Cross Bay beginning of October 2010 for second time in 2 years. We found the lodge just as good as our first visit and must say how it feels just like home from home.The location at the site is superb, and the lodge has everything you are likely to need.It is handy for lots of interesting places and we are already considering going back next year Would recommend the Haverthwaite train/steamer trip, starting with a bacon bap in the station cafe (Lovely!) .Ian and Gill have done a grand job setting up the lodge which is something for them to be proud of.’ Alan & Jean
‘We had a lovely autumn weekend and enjoyed watching the rabbits and squirrels from the comfy, cosy lodge. We made good use of the outdoor toys provided and enjoyed a cooked breakfast on the verandah. We found the lodge clean, cosy & well equipped and enjoyed several bike rides round the site. This is our second stay on this site and would stay again. Had a great day on the steam train and then in Grasmere … crammed alot in! Thank you x’ The Coxhill Family
‘We booked at the last minute for a long weekend at half term and were very pleased with our decision! Despite the weather (a bit wet at times) we’ve had a couple of lovely walks, and managed to wear our puppy out completely!!
